FRA 213 Track Safety Standards

REGISTRATION INFORMATION
Seminar Hours & Location:
October 30-31   -  8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.
November 1   -  8:00 a.m. - Noon

The seminar will be held at METRA’s 127th Street MOW Training Facility (2100 W. Prairie) at Blue Island, Illinois. AREMA will send directions with your meeting registration.

Enrollment
Advance registration is required. Your registration fee covers the cost of instruction, course materials, and refreshment breaks. Lodging and other meals are not included in the registration fee.

Fees:
Early bird registration by February 15, 2007 is $450 for AREMA members and $600 for nonmembers. After February 15, the fee is $525 for members and $675 for non-members.

Cancellations/Refunds:
Classes are subject to cancellation if a minimum number of registrants is not met by two weeks prior to the class date. You will be notified immediately if a cancellation occurs. Refunds will be issued if the seminar is cancelled by AREMA. Participant cancellation must be received in writing, and is subject to a 20% administrative fee by AREMA. No cancellations will be accepted after September 30, 2007. Substitutions may be made for a $50 processing fee.

This seminar is designed to teach the FRA 213 – Track Safety Standards with a fresh, innovative and interactive approach. AREMA, recognizing the special needs of short lines and contractors, developed this workshop specifically for short lines with Class 1 – 3 trackage. Using the format of its successful workshop for Class 1- 5, the program has been completely retooled with photos depicting short line situations, problems and case studies geared only to Class 1 – 3 trackage.
