General Information

CONFERENCE LOCATION

The Hilton Chicago hotel is a landmark downtown property located on the "Cultural Michigan Avenue Mile" overlooking Grant Park and Lake Michigan, Millennium Park and Museum Campus. It is the closest luxury hotel to the city's convention center while being only minutes from the loop business center, shopping and theatre. The Hilton Chicago hotel features 1,544 richly appointed guest rooms, full service business center, fitness facilities, indoor pool, diverse dining options and over 234,000 square feet of meeting, banquet and exhibit space.

CEU/PIE &PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT HOURS

AREMA offers Continuing Education Credits (CEU) for our seminars and selected conference sessions, through a special agreement negotiated with the University of North Florida. In addition to CEU credits, AREMA is offering Continuing Education Certificates through the New York Professional Engineers Program. Professional Development Hours (PDH) are earned for participating in this conference. Please note that your individual state board has the final authority on approving all Professional Development Hours for activities attended and other methods of earning credit. The PDH forms will be available at the Conference and can be picked up at the AREMA Registration Desk or online at www.arema.org after the conference. You will receive 9.5 Professional Development Hours for this conference.

DRESS CODE

Business casual attire is suggested.

REGISTRATION

Conference Registration fee includes admission to all general sessions and the Exposition. Registration fee does not include meals, travel or accommodations. An extra fee applies for the Chairman’s Annual Luncheon on Tuesday. All seminars require a separate fee.

CANCELLATION POLICY

Cancellations must be received in writing on or before August 12, 2009 to obtain a refund. A 20% processing fee will be charged for cancellations. Refunds will not be processed until after the conference. No refunds will be issued for cancellations made after August 12, 2009. Substitutions may be made for a $60 processing fee.
