Deanna Hanquist has over 19 years of experience in helping clients address and change the thoughts and behaviors that cause emotional pain. In her private counseling practice, Deanna offers an accepting, compassionate approach to helping her clients get what they want in life, love, work and family. She works with adults, couples, children, teenagers and families struggling with stress, depression, anxiety, grief, relationship problems, and life transitions. She provides seminars and training programs to inspire and motivate people to feel good about themselves by finding happiness, success and meaningful relationships.

Deanna graduated with a Masters degree in Clinical Psychology from Emporia State University, Emporia, Kansas. She is a Licensed Mental Health Practitioner in private practice in Omaha, Nebraska. As a Licensed Psychological Assistant, she is trained in psychological evaluations and psychometric testing for personality, academic and developmental disorders. Crisis intervention and workplace relationship issues are also areas of expertise she offers as a Certified Employee Assistance Professional.

A native of the Midwest, Deanna married into a Union Pacific family twelve years ago. Her father-in-law retired after 29 years of service in Engineering and her husband, currently a Labor Relations Director, has spent 20 years in Engineering and Labor Relations. Deanna understands, both personally and professionally, the joys and frustrations that railroad life can offer. Deanna enjoys spending time with her eight year-old son, two schnauzers, and a handful of good friends.
