Ground Transportation
Continental Airport Express operates between Chicago O’Hare and Midway Airports and the hotel. The cost is $31 one way and $55 round trip to/from O’Hare Airport. “Metropolitan Cars and Limousines” offers limousines as well as passenger vans. CEU/PIE and Professional Development Hours (PDHs)
By attending the AREMA Annual Conference, seminars and workshops, you are entitled to earn Continuing Education Units (CEUs) and Professional Development Hours (PDHs). PDHs for New York and Florida are available through AREMA’s relationship with the Florida Board of Professional Engineers and the New York Professional Engineers Program. AREMA is also an approved provider for the state of Indiana. Individuals needing PDHs for other states may self declare using AREMA’s form. In addition to PDHs, CEUs are available through a special agreement negotiated with the University of North Florida.
Committee meetings are also approved for PDHs through the Florida Board of Professional Engineers.
AREMA is also an approved provider of the Registered Continuing Education Program (RCEP).
Please note that your individual state board has the final authority on approving all Professional Development Hours for activities attended. The CEU and PDH forms will be available at the Conference and can be picked up at the AREMA Registration Desk or online at www.arema.org after the Conference.
Registration
The AREMA 2012 Annual Conference & Exposition registration fee includes admission to all general sessions and the Exposition. The registration fee does not include meals, travel or accommodations. An extra fee applies for the Chairmen’s Annual Luncheon on Tuesday and seminars and workshops.
Dress Code
Business casual attire is suggested.
Consent to Use of Photographic Images
Registration and attendance at, or participation in, the AREMA 2012 Annual Conference & Exposition and other activities constitutes an agreement by the registrant to AREMA’s use and distribution (both now and in the future) of the registrant or attendee’s image or voice in photographs, videos, electronic reproductions and audios of such events and activities.
Cancellation Policy
Cancellations must be received in writing on or before August 8, 2012 to obtain a refund. A 20% processing fee will be charged for cancellations. Refunds will not be processed until after the Conference. No refunds will be issued for cancellations made after August 8, 2012. Substitutions may be made for a $60 processing fee.
