Please Note:PowerPoint presentations and speeches are NOT acceptable as submitted Papers. If you wish to use PowerPoint slides to enhance the presentation of your Paper, you may do so. However, a full text-based Paper will be required for Publication. The requirement for a formal Paper may be waived, at the discretion of the Program Committee, for presenters proposing presentations in the Maintenance Functional Group area. Selected PowerPoint presentations may be published in the Proceedings. The AREMA Author’s Guide and Presenter’s Guide are available at www.arema.org.

Presenters are required to register for the AREMA Annual Conference. A reduced “Presenter Rate” is available.

In order to streamline style and make preparing your presentation easier, AREMA provides a template for PowerPoint presentations for the 2012 Annual Conference & Exposition.

The slide templates will be available as Microsoft PowerPoint 2007 for Windows template (.potx). This template can be opened and used in PowerPoint 2003 for Windows (with the Office 2007 Compatibility Pack installed) and PowerPoint 2008 for Mac OS X.

As always, your company logo may appear on the first and last slides of your presentation.

Note:  Office 2003 (with 2007 Compatibility Pack) will not recognize the .potx file format when opening from Windows Explorer. It will work if you open PowerPoint 2003 and then open the template from within PowerPoint 2003.
