The purpose of AREMA Committee 35 is to continually review current and new information technology applications for monitoring and maintaining wayside infrastructure and passenger facilities, service and assistance systems and to recommend associated “industry practices” with the overall goal of improving the safety, efficiency, reliability and quality of train operations and services.
